Social policy and labor market
In May 2024, the overall progress assessment in the area of social policy and employment nearly doubled compared to May, rising from 0.77 to 1.37. This occurred due to increased scores in legislation and the state of implementation of changes.
Specifically, the legislation score increased from 0.9 in April to 2.14 in May. This assessment included the adoption of laws on the implementation of the Istanbul Convention, participation in the EU program “Citizens, Equality, Rights, and Values,” and the prevention of domestic violence.
However, in May, as in April, no initiatives were identified to be included in the assessment, and the agenda score remained close to 1.8.
The implementation score increased from 0.69 to 1.39, with improvements across all three components of this assessment. Experts significantly improved the assessment of the correctness of the direction of changes (to 3).
