In February 2024, the overall assessment slightly decreased compared to January 2024 and stood at 0.9 versus 1.17. However, it remains sufficiently high and positive throughout the entire monitoring period: 1.17 in January compared to 1.1 in December and 1.15 in November.

What influenced the overall assessment by the experts? Decrease in the implementation status assessment from 0.66 to 0.48, as well as the neutral value (0) of the agenda-setting assessment, which remained unchanged from the previous month.

At the same time, changes in legislation were more positively assessed in February compared to January, with a score of 1.22 versus 0.89. However, planned legislative changes were rated less positively than in the previous month: 0.9 versus 1.7.

The decline in the overall assessment may be related to a certain decrease in legislative activity in January-February 2024. While the assessment for December and January resulted from the work done at the end of 2023, which was observed in December-January. Also, the overall assessment is influenced by the neutrality of regulations and other documents that are not always directly related to the Euro Integration process.

Nevertheless, the overall assessment remains generally positive.
